Why YouTube stops playing on my browser when I minimize it?
Ok. I used to brag about how my BlackBerry is better than my wife's iPhone 5s in terms of its ability to play video when I minimize the app (native browser). Now this is not working anymore, any ideas?

New appreciation for Z10 screen
I've been using my Z10 naked for a few years now. Thing still looks fantastic.
I will admit to having a fling with some 'droids, Sony, LG... I just noticed these other phones are horrible with regards to getting fingerprints and smudges on them. Impossible to keep clean!
I dunno what BlackBerry put on the Z10 screen, but it works wonders. Yes, I think there is a security aspect to it as well. On the other phones I can often see the unlock pattern just by the smudges on the screen.

Can't pass the setup essential gestures
BB Z10 stl 100-2
sw 10.3.3.3057
problem is that i have reset the mobile when the screen misfunctioned after dropping, it can't swipe down from top edge, now stuck at finalizing the setup in essential gestures.
tried to reflash the os several times with auto loader trying the original sw as well as the ones in development and upgrading every time till reached ver. 10.3.3.3057
so now can't downgrade.
every time it was completted successfully but stuck at essential gestures.
don't want to buy new screen just want to make it functional.
can any one give me a work around to this issue ?
my idea now is that if i can restore a dummy back (which i don't have any of it) with completed setup, can make me pass this stage.
please correct me if i am wrong, if i am right, can any one support me with this backup ?

Quick Settings - only "Settings" appeared

I hope you are all right.
When I booted up my Z10 recently, I was surprised to find that the quick settings pulldown only showed one option: "Settings."
I was warned in other ways that the memory for the device was full. Upon clearing memory and restarting the device, the other options for the quick settings pulldown appeared again--albeit in the default arrangement.
Has anyone else had this experience with their Z10?
I did not enjoy this experience.

OS version is blocked from device. | BlackBerry Q5 Autoloder
My Blackberry Q5 Model type SQR-100-3 with preloaded software release of 10.2.1.2..and so on.
I was very comfortable with UI until a new update was getting download in the background of 10.3....
This new update has very tiny fonts to read.
So after some internet search I decided to downgrade my software version to my previous one of 10.2. I used a autoloader respective to the SQR 100-3 model type and executed it and the LED turned green for a few seconds and then the autoloader command prompt screen closed abruptly giving message in this manner " Error: This OS version is blocked from device". Ever since the BB Q5 phone is blinking red light twice but the phone is not booting.
Later I tried a few more autoloaders including software version 10.3.1.997 but it gives same Error messages " Failed to load image" & " Error: This OS version is blocked from device".
Can you please assist me with this issue since I bought it only 3 days ago and I was more comfortable with the Blackberry 10.2. versions which was easy to my eyes.
I am not sure which software version on my BB Q5 was updated the latest but it was 10.3 or it's later version.
Once again my model type is Blackberry Q5 SQR 100-3 type

My Z10 has died. RIP
Was just charging and next thing found it dead. No led. No detection by PC either so BBLink can't reload. It died real good.
Was being used by my mom so gave her my spare Z30. Hope I can submit the Z10 in the impending trade-in program.

Anti-theft protection
I had an old BB Z10, i wiped out my phone data and deleted my blackberry login id and password and did not disable anti-theft protection. Now after around a year i again want to use that phone but unable to set up the device as it requires old login id .

Z10 Sound Volume Issue
I have a second Z10 that has very low volume via the internal speaker. However, I do get full volume from the earphone jack and from bluetooth. I just finished replacing the old speaker/earphone jack piece as a fix, and that did not solve the problem. (I did that because the old ear jack was bad and did not allow for a good connection.)
I think I had first tried a full reset of the phone - wipe and OS reinstall.
Anything else to try? I am stumped as to why I can get full sound out of the earpiece jack but not via the phone speaker. There's no speaker in the unit other than the one that's up near the top, correct? Could this be a motherboard issue or a software issue? Thanks for any suggestions - I'm really stumped.
