To whom it may concern: [Please forward to someone that can help me]
I am a long time Blackberry user, going from the Curve to the Torch to now the z10 and am very disappointed that after two weeks of use its broken from falling one foot, out of my pocket while I was seated.
My 2 week old Z10 fell from my pocket while seating and the screen cracked. Important to mention; I had a Blackberry branded case on it as well. The screen cracked and the touch screen is unusable now. The phone still works perfectly, receives msgs, emails and phone calls but because the touch screen does not work it is useless.
My provider Telus could not help other than say it would be approximately $300 dollars to replace the screen. Which I am not prepared to do.
This phone should not have broken from one foot especially with a case on it.
I would love for you to help me with either a repair or a new phone as I am convinced that this phone is defected. There is no way RIM/Blackberry would release such a weak, poorly made device.
I look forward to your response!
Thanks you,
Lauren Gillespie
