Z10 upgrade issues on os 10.1.0.4160

Hi All!...

Ok, just singed up so I am a newbie so please don't hold that against me!!

Ok I have a Z10 here in Australia on the Vodafone ( vodafail) network :)
Today I received a notification to upgrade to the new OS which I did and now my phone is not working well.

1: No sms notification
2:cant delete sms
3: deleted all my sms history
4: doesn't refresh/update the facebook notifications

So I am kind of tempted to go back to my previous OS I am far from a tech but I just need my phone working 100 %
Can I go back to my previous OS without losing any data etc on my phone?..

PLEASE HELP!!!! :)
