Recently I was devastated to find that the device would not budge from the boot screen (at 100%, no less). At this point, I was forced to reload and I thought a clean slate might not be such a bad idea after all as I'd been experiencing issues with random reboots. Suspecting that sideloading may have been the culprit, I began hunting for native apps to meet my needs: this is where Bonfire Reader came in. Immediately, the application began to behave strangely as it attempted to load the library, and figuring that a reboot was in order, I powered the device down. Huge, huge mistake. I have tried everything (including battery removal) and it absolutely refuses to power back on. If I hold the power button for roughly 10 seconds, I might get a single blink of the red LED--if I'm lucky. Battery was nearly full at the time of this incident, so I can't imagine that the power source is to blame. Any suggestions whatsoever would be very much appreciated, as I am loathe to suffer the pain of shipping/repair! :( I am with Wind Mobile and haven't the faintest clue what my warranty policy is, as I've never in my life had a device break down on me in such a spectacular fashion, let alone within the first few months of ownership.
