I have been on the phone a few hours in the last couple of week with Verizon, then Blackberry techs. No matter what Notifications Mode I choose (e.g. Normal, Vibrate Only, All Alerts Off, etc), the actual behavior of the alerts does not change. It is totally dependent on the individual alerts settings at the bottom of the Notifications menu (e.g. Phone, BBM Video, Messages, etc.)
The Blackberry tech said that this is a known issue on all Z10s and the workaround is to go into each individual alert setting (i.e. Phone, BBM Video, Messages, BBM, etc) and change each of them EACH time I want, for example, sound or vibration or no sound. This seems quite an inconvenient workaround and I'm a little surprised that I am not finding major thread topics about this if it is true that "all" Z10s are experiencing the same things.
Is this true what he tells me and, if so, why can't I find a riot going on :)
