Having campaigned long and hard for Spotify to be developed for the Z10 I'm feeling somewhat a little dejected and unloved. For me (and I'm sure I speak for many) feel that the developments of bb10 are outstanding bringing many features and user functionality that would put old ios to shame. Not many days go by when someone picks up my z10 and says "this is an awesome phone" - to which I smile!
The one thing that has upset me greatly is the lack of Spotify. I loved the service, the offline functionality the availability on tivo (UK Virginia media), etc etc hosting a blog and participating in others (Peter), the lack of response, comment or media statement from Spotify is dreadful, and almost bordering on arrogance. I have posted ways in which users can access the html5 version through the developer mode and remaind faithful to the Spotify collective. However.....recent posts seem to claim that Spotify won't be supporting bb10 and have no plans to, leaving me with no option but to explore other options.
Downloading Deezer was my first port of call thanks to cb10 forums. I must be honest the interface is intuitive, album listing easier and general functionality as good as Spotify. With a 15 day free trial,who could complain.
The one thing with Deezer is the simple album listing and official releases as compared to the Spotify "user albums" that keep getting thrown up instead of an official album.
So far - impressed! But look to the old faithful forum for good debate and comment before I commit my 10 a month......
