Hello Guys,

I dont know how many of the us is facing this issue, I am using Key2 128GB and i am facing a strange issue wherein whenever i reboot the device or Shutdown and start, the messages, calls, email etc stops working untill and unless i unlock the device. once its unlocked it takes few seconds just showing the wall paper and then all the icons and the clocks comes up and things start to work.

I have also came across some other issues where in suddenly my notification for incoming calls and messages will go off (no sound, no vibration) as i have selected a complete radio silence and the calls are miss. I even get a small message sometimes at the bottom "the OTG is not active" someting like this from time to time.

Hope there is a ressolution for this, Thank you.

I have installed play store with play services(cobalt's method) but voice call doesn't work. Every time my call is received or I receive someone's call it stucks at "connecting". Please let me know is there any other versions working or any other work around

I always thought that the Z10 was the perfect size. Just needed a Convenience key and better battery... times changed and I left it behind. The other day I got tired of social media and basically just wanted a hello goodbye phone with the occasional text here and there. I loaded up and downloaded whatsapp and it worked . The keyboard is Superior to The android keyboard . The keyboard overall is more responsive and learns my typing better the flick type is a breeze. The access to the hub in any screen is still my favorite feature. I liked when they carried it over to the priv and then it was dropped... I'm leaving the Z10 again but this time because of Gmail cashapp and the browser "media" issues. The phone is still a solid stand alone phone. Unfortunately people didn't give it a chance and that goes to BlackBerry as well.. they could have done minor updates to fix issues like the browser... people are getting tired of Android and it's time for a new OS, maybe BlackBerry should have waited until people wanted something completely new, when BlackBerry 10 came out Android and ios were still kinda new.
Bring back BlackBerry 10

Are you still using a Z10?

I'm interested in how (daily driver? backup? PDA? work? personal?) and why.

Surely you've had opportunities to move on to something else.

What is it about the Z10 that you can't quit?

I'm actually thinking about picking (another) one up and installing as many apps as I can before BlackBerry World dies at the end of the year. Just because I can. It's the original BB10 phone, after all.

Hi,

I've read around and I need to get blackberry link to work in order to attempt to reinstall an OS to my Z10.

I'm running Windows 7 and I've uninstalled, reinstalled it 2 times, I've uninstalled every apple/iTunes application and it still won't work.

I tried bbry blend but it couldn't locate the device (either because blend doesn't work with z10 and/or it's bricked ATM)

So the question is, 1. Is there a better/easier way to fix this blackberry z10? 2. If not, are there any other tips or tricks to getting bblink to work again?

I have a Blackberry z10 STL100-2 and I autoloaded the latest OS with this autoloader "STL100-2.Z10.BB10_3_3.10.3.3.498.exe", I already had this problem before, after upgrading the OS with Blackberry link. I read in some forum that I had to install the OS with an autoloader to solve the problem and so I did... only to end up with the same problem again.

I am frustrated and seems like I have gone out of options. Do you have any suggestion for me ?:huh:

I know that latest Viber version is 5.6 that works well on BB Z10. But I decided to try to find newer version that works on BB Z10 and after some research installed Viber 11.0.0.5 from Apkmirror. This version installs and runs OK on BB Z10 and asks for a phone number to activate.

But if I enter the number and hit "continue" button I see a popup "Activating Viber" with circling purple ribbon then after ~5 mins nothing happens and Viber asks to enter number again. Connectivity is OK.

Any clues about this issue and maybe someone will also try to install this version and write here his results?

Are all the red Special Edition Z10's (in Canada) the same model number? If so, can you tell me what it is?

Security wiping my Special Ed yesterday triggered a bb10-0015 error. Link barfs on attempted reloads, so I'd like to try an autoloader...but I need to know the model number. I don't see anything useful printed beneath the battery.

Little help?

I recently bought a new-ish used car, a Chev Cruze with an infotainment screen on the dashboard. When we are in the car, it connects by Bluetooth to my PRIV and also my wife's. Both of them show up on the screen as "BlackBerry STV100-3". This gets confusing. I have looked through the phone for a way to give each of them its own unique identifier like "This PRIV" and "That PRIV" sort of thing. How can I get this done?

I have a backup of Z10 on OS 10.3.2.2639.
Now I want to restore but current OS version is 10.3.3.3216.
I use BB Link and try to restores but always got error. I think OS version is a cause.
Can I downgrade to old version and how to do it?

Still the best mobile phone after 6+ years, and on its 7th birthday and later, maybe forever, I confidently anticipate I will still be using it for calls, texts, email, contacts, calendar, browser, pics, music, videos, WiFi, Bluetooth and selected apk's.
BBID, BBW and BB Protect all shut down at least a month ago and haven't missed them one bit.
What am I dreading after 31-DEC? Thousands of tediously null posts from users saying "Guess what, I can still .. .." or "Grrr, I can't any longer .. .." as a horrid echo of the last two years' posts anticipating the same calendar date.

I am trying to access my Z10 via wifi network. I am now being prompted to enter a username and password that I don't recognize. I have no idea what user name or password that this message refers to.

"enter your credentials to connect to : BLACKBERRY 49DB"

what credentials is this message referring to? I don't think I have a username for my phone. I think I just have a password.

Does anyone have the 10.3.2.2888 autoloader for STL100-1?

How do I increase the pickup in my microphone when I talk on the phone. Odd thing is the pickup is just perfect when I record my voice. Everything checks out in BBVE.
This is a replacement phone that I purchased. My original phone burned out the USB in some strange way. I have another thread about that issue.
When I talk on the phone my voice comes in very low. I have boosted treble through call audio but that is on limited help.
Would like to access "Default Call Volume" and set the volume to something reasonable.
If I can't get this fixed, I guess I will have to buy another phone yet again.

I have just purchased BB Z10 and am having problem downloading android apps. I have just managed to download whatsapp. Thanks to you guys for the link. However there are still a couple of thing i need to learn, like installing gmail and chrome. Help please ! Thanks.

My Z10 pairs nicely with my Car ( Land rover LR2). However when I try to place a call it is often easier to use an existing number from a list. The default list is frequently used numbers, there are also received call, missed calls, placed calls etc. These numbers are purely in the order in which they were received or sent. If my girlfriend calls me 10 times in a row then in the list there is only her number displayed 10 times. This gets to be very irritating over time. I would like to see only unique numbers in these lists so that I can place a call without having to resort to using the address book. I often find myself placing a call manually instead of hand free just because a number that I do use often is pushed out by a duplicate number.
