Whats the future of BB Z10 after december 2019??

Hearing BB will stop supporting for OS after december, so what would be the future of BB Z10. My dad is in India and asking me to send BB Z10 phone for him. Wanted to check this forum's response before i buy one for him.

BlackBerry Z10: Device PIN Blocked

Hi
I have moved my SIM last week from Nexus 6P to my old Blackberry Z10 device; has worked well for 2-3 days (Calls, SMS, internet browsing) but now it's unusable - it display a white screen saying:

.............

"Device PIN Blocked"
IMEI xxxxxxxxxx

Unable to contact Blackberry service. Please contact service provider fro assistance.

...........

Reboot does not help - get the same screen, can't use the phone.

I got this phone from Blackberry (gift, worked for them a while ago) but did not use it in the past 2 years at least.

I have checked with the provider and the phone it's not blacklisted; at this point I think it's a Blackberry ID issue.

Any idea how this issue can be fixed?

Z10 Software Update questions.

I recently bought a z10 (AT&T STL 100-3) for work , while at the att store I noticed the software version is 10.1.0.2019.
I checked for a software update and it's saying it's up to date .Do I need to activate the phone on the network to get the over the air update or is it because the device isn't supported.I also attempted to run several apk files and couldn't open the file even with editing the file name.

Memory card not detected

After replacing the earpiece module of my Z10, I discovered the memory card was not detected anymore. The slot has no visible flaws, but pins 1-8 appear to always be at 0V. The "detect" pin (9) is floating when empty, and pulled to zero on card insertion, however I haven't noticed any higher-level activity there. I am wondering if I might have damaged the mainboard in such a way that all other BBVE tests succeed. I would appreciate if you shared your thoughts and related experience.

That's right. My Z10 somehow never got the upgrade of 10.3. I've had this phone since 2014. I got the Z30 in 2016 and it came with the 10.3 pre installed.
Under T-Mobile I know they had the fall out with BlackBerry where they publicly announced the severance of their relationship. But jeez! It still never got the update neither from the Link or OTA. Even from the website it would say I have the latest software. Sei la vi I suppose..

Gifted my old Z10

I have gifted my old Z10 to my girlfriend's son. He is 13 and this is his first cell phone.

We couldn't get Whatsapp on it, but did successfully install Telegram so he can message mum.

Apparently, he also has 4 girls on his contacts list as well...

Currently posting this from my key 2

I can safely say I that the z10 was the best blackberry I have ever used.

All time favourite had to be the blackberry bold 9900

However the os10 was amazing

I wish blackberry kept it going because it was absolutely fantastic

The only downside was lack of apps etc

Nevertheless it was fit for purpose and would probably be fit for purpose today as I am a business person

The hub was amazing and other apps I use a lot is youtube and what's app

The keyboard was VERY good with the swiping up gesture.

Os10 was definitely more fluid than android oreo currently on my key2

Sadly since android have wrecked the hub on The key2, I wish os10 was still at large today

Blackberry should have kept their own Os alive and pushed more apps in their apps store

Sadly it an absolute monopoly with apple and android which forced os10 out the picture

Os10 was going places; competition and threat always gets stomped out by the big players.

Please Help me!! I can't install or open almost all of my apps!!(whatsApp......) Its almost 20days from when my phone(z10) started to refuse openning Apps by loading infinitely when I want to open almost all of my apps did the same!!
Then I deleted them all(those which were malfunctioning) and downloaded new others successfully! but the problem comes when am going to install them, it Processes or initialises an APKFile infinitely!
What can I do???pleaase help because I can't use social medias and am not perfoming my tasks well!!

Hello, guys! I hope, I'll find help for solving my problem here.:)
Exume me for a long post.

Yesterday my PC was upgraded (i think it matters, because i can't see any other reason why the situation happened). I connected my Z10 with PC via USB to charge the battery (it was about 35%). In 10 minutes I took the phone - it was turned off and very hot. I removed the battery and put it back then - I saw a white Blackberry logo and then a red sign of empty battery. After that the phone turned off completely.

Z10 doesn't connect with other PC via BBLink or Desktop manager (with/without battery). When I try to charge it by original adapter, the LED is lighting (it's red or pink, sometimes it's blinking - i think it's 1 and 3 times -and then LED becomes white until it turns off in a few minutes). The phone doesn't work at all.

I really want to save the files on the phone memory - is there a chance if I plug a new battery into my phone? Maybe, there's something different that I can do?

Love my Z10, and don't want to give it up.
Went from Verizon to T-Mobile - Now with Consumer Cellular.
Changed over 5 other phones (none BB), but Z10 does not want to talk to T-Mobile or ATT tower. (Only emergency calls). CS can't help, sent me here.

I am changing phones, as my BB is having issues with its touch screen. I know my password, but the device isn't reading it correctly. If I enter my password more than 10 times, will my pictures be deleted? And where do I send this device for repair?

Hey there to all!

I wanted to do a fresh install on my Z10. I want the lastest autoloader avaible, but I can´t find it. Also, I've seen many threads here, but all the links are dead...

Someone knows where I can find the lastest or the best version for my STL100-1?
