Disable phone app pop up after hangup?

Is it possible to disable the phone app from popping back into focus after the person on the other line hangs up on you?

Example:
-I'm browsing the web or browsing the app store
-A friend calls me and the phone app appears, I swipe down to answer.
-I go back to the browser and continue browsing0 while I listen to what my friend has to say.
-When the friend hangs up, the phone app pops back up again and disrupts me browsing.

I don't need the phone app to pop back up just because the call was ended.
