Will American z10 maps work in Europe

i'm getting ready to do some world travel and was wondering if anyone had tried to use their american z10 GPS function in maps "across the pond". Works well here in the states and my phone is set up for world wide coverage.

any ideas?.....i'd rather leave my real gps at home if possible.
