If one uses the video camera from within the app "keek" to take video the app will automatically make its own folder.
Take the video you like, then from instagram select video and then select gallery, navigate to the Keek folder and select your video.
It works, took me a few times, and some restarts, but for whatever reason instagram likes keek.
I am using the unlocked runtime, so I'm unsure whether this method will work without it. It also worked on 10.2.0.1047 and 1371.
It took a lot of reading but some other forum members figured this out. The subject seems to come up a lot, so hope this helps.
