Extended battery for the Z10....

Hi , I was checking on ebay to buy an extended battery for my z10, i saw a few there with 2700mAh or 2800mAh . There is one called Gold battery for blackberry z10 which has 2880mAh . I would like to know is it safe to buy those extended batteries for my z10? would it cause any damage to the phone ?
