Blackberry needs to have more on site demos at all major and local events in order to attract more subscribers.
Quite a number of times now people have noticed my phone and I stopped to educate them about all the features and they were impressed. Some had no idea blackberry even had new phones because the local carrier did not even have them on display nor did the carriers inform them. Carriers simply point to Samsung or Apple.
After showing off my phone these people were amazed and their view towards blackberry changed. Yes application availability is an issue but can change if blackberry can increase its market share.
"If you build it they will come" attitude does not work for BlackBerry right now. The only way to attempt a come back is to advertise advertise and have on site demos.
