Got my Z-10 around mid May or so, everything was working fine, then today, while still charging in my vehicle, I go to wake it up, which it did, then it goes to a black screen, with just the red light flashing. Tried a battery pull a few times, nothing. Tried to reload the OP via BB Link, it would not recognize the phone. Even tried to update the software via BB's site...phone still wasn't recognized by the pc.
Went through T-Mobile, their shipping a replacement out, but I'm still trying to figure out what happened. There have been several posts about Z-10's bricking, but no one seems to have an answer why. I only noticed the phone seemed to get warmer than usual, and my battery life was depleting rapidly prior to it shutting down.
Going to try to charge it overnight, and see if it revives in morning...just aggravating...and even though I'm getting a replacement, I'm not feeling too confident that this isn't going to happen again.
