I'm a long-term BB addict, but this Z10 is really testing my patience.
I've got it for about two months now, and I have to completely wipe and re-install it about once a week, losing everything, because I don't own anything Windows so I can't make backups.
My Z10 runs on 10.1.0.2312, on Vodafone NL. It's setup with Balance, connected to our corporate BES10 / Exchange (2012). Besides that, I have two private IMAP accounts configured.
After a setup and full sync of the mailboxes, it shows about 5GB in "other storage", and everything is working fine. Then, after about 5-7 days, usually overnight, it stops receiving emails on the corporate account. The two IMAP accounts continue to receive email. When this happens, the "other storage" usage explodes, usually until the full 16GB is reached and the BB crashes.
Since I've had it I've updated the OS a few times, and our admin has made sure we're on the bleeding edge of the BES. I'm the only one with this problem, my collegues don't seem to have it. Only difference I can see it that my mailbox is larger (due to the amount of client email I need to keep handy, so I can't really reduce it). What I also notice that after the wipe and the initial sync, I sometimes have a corrupt email, in the sense that I see a mail header in the list, but when I open it, it shows the body of another email. It doesn't happen all the time, but if it does, it's always the same email header, but with a random email body. Our admin has rebuild my Exchange mailbox, but that hasn't fixed it.
After a restart, the "other storage" usage is back to what it was (around 5GB), but the hub is unresponsive for more then an hour after that, the storage usage increases again in that period, and still no new email will come in.
A complete new install of the OS is the last thing I haven't tried yet, due to lack of a Windows PC.
Anyone have some tips before I throw this thing out the window and go back to the utterly reliable 9700?
