Blackberry z10 died

Hi,

My friend brought me his blackberry z10 a few days ago to see if i could fix it. It seems like the phone just died completely. At first when i turned it on, it just showed me a screen where i could try functions like the cameras, the led, sensors etc. but i noticed the battery was very low so i decided to charge it first and then i turned it on again and the same thing happend. So i installed blackbery link on my laptop and when i connected the device, it just said, 'can't comunicat with device'. So i tried to reload the os through blackberry link and i took a long time to download and after it finished downloading, it was trying to conect to the device but then i just got this error msg 'can't comunicate with device'. So i unplugged it but i couldn't turn the screen on anymore. there's just the little red light blinking. no matter wich buttons i press, how long or anything, it stays the same, just the little red led blinking. it seems as if it's dead but when i connect it my laptop, it shows the device in but it says 'can't comunicate with device'. Any help to revive it again??
