Browser question

I really don't use my browser that often,
I started messing around with it tonight,and have come across an issue you guys might help me with.
Sometimes when I search for something it gives me ERROR. Couldn't resolve host name.
If I search for YouTube I get it every time,but if I click on my YouTube app it goes there no prob. I mean it wont even search for youtube.
Same thing with Craigslist. If I search for Craigslist I get the error,but if I search for Craigslist.org it will go straight there.
Why is it trying to go straight there,and not giving me a list of suggestions?
This happens often,and is very annoying .
There are 4 other cell phones in the house and only mine does it.
Any help will be appreciated.
