Quite a few users on Crackberry, including have been fairy hopeful that with the update to the Android Runtime, the app situation would change but after trying the Beta 10.2, I am lossing this hope. Obviously, it's still in beta and everything won't be as perfect but what I have noticed it many of the popular apps don't actually have 4.2 as the minimun requirement on Google Play Store, so since the requirments are fullfilled with the current 10.1 it wouldn't make that big of a difference with the update. Obviously, they would be much smoother but that's only if they work. Most of the games I sideloaded using the new sideload method didn't even go past the loading screen and mind it the minimum requirement is 2.3.3 for them. So, I don't see how the app situation will improve. Blackberry needs to contact the developers and get them to make native apps or else there is no hope or not in the near future. Yes, there are work around a lot of the app but only a small portion of the population is willing to go through the extra work. Blackberry really needs to step it up interms of customer service. A friend of mine dropped his iPhone, didn't have apple care, yet was able to obtain a new iPhone without any charges. As far as I know based upon what I have read on Crackberry, I would end up nowhere. Blackberry really needs to put in the effort. My patience with the BlackBerry is dying everyday. Now, I know quite a few of you would be like see your Blackberry, and get another phone but to those of you, all I wanna say it money for most of us doesn't go on trees and the current difference between a high end Android or Iphone 5 and Blackberry Z10 is over $150. I put my faith in Blackberry, Blackberry should deliever. It's a new platform, you can sideload, use the browser are not acceptable solutions and excuses.
P.S. People started a whole petition against Netflix for not having a BB10 app, why not against Blackberry for disappointing us so much. Users in US are still waiting for 10.1, how is that acceptable and no its not the carriers fault, blackberry isn't doing enough!
