My Z10 died. Went to black, not able to power up

I got a Verizon Z10 the day it launched, and I love it. I did have a few random reboots, but it wasn't a daily occurrence.

But then last week I went to unlock my phone and it went to black. No reboot, just dead. Didn't matter if it was plugged in or had a different battery it wouldn't power up. The people at Verizon said they hadn't seen that before.

Happily Verizon had a replacement shipped out to me in just two days, but it was odd. Anyone else have this issue?
