Amazing Z10 in Turkey

I brought my Z10 with me for a holiday in Turley. What a beautiful country and I'm sooo pleased with the great photos I'm taking here. Both my PlayBook and Z10 work beautifully on my hotel wifi both in Istanbul and Bodrum. Plus I got a Turkcell simcard for about $30 and used Crackberry to unlock the Z10. Now I'm phoning and texting and using all the apps without paying the exorbitant Bell roaming rates, e.g., $8 for 1 MB to use data here with my Bell simcard, vs. $6 for 100 MB with the Turkcell simcard.

Hey everyone, try the 360 panorama app. Really works beautifully and I can't say how many thrilling moments I've had showing the panorama shots in "look" mode to friends here. Trust me, it is well worth the 99 cents or maybe it was $2 or $3, can't remember but cheap relative to the value & enjoyment.

Best phone/tablet combo ever.

We were in the bright sunshine and 2 Japanese girls asked me to take their picture using their Samsung Galaxy S3. To see the display, I had to remove my sunglasses to see the S3 display to take the photo. After I took the photo, I asked them to look at it. For them to view it, I saw them use what appeared to be their regular drill of removing their sunglasses and shading the S3 display with their hands. They smiled and thanked me. I asked if they could show it to me. They handed their S3 phone to me and the picture was barely visible with my sunglasses off. I asked them to look at the same photo I had just taken using my Z10 (without them in it of course!). They seemed surprised they could view the photo on the Z10 in the direct sunlight without shading it. I said "it's a BlackBerry!" and they said "very good, better than Samsung". It kinda made my day.
