Unlocked CDN STL100-3 on US Service Provider

I know there are a couple of threads about this, but no definitive answer.
I have an unlocked Z10 STL100-3 from the Bell Network.

Going on a trip to USA for a month and want to know, can I use the data (APN locked) on the Z10?

I've heard both yes and no answers.
Who currently has a the STL100-3 on a US carrier that fully works.
