Contacts within dialer question

Hello.

I've noticed some kind of bug which others have probably mentioned, but I was wondering if anyone could help with a link or some advice...

In my normal contacts I have so and so many people listed in there. When I open contacts from the within the dialer, by hitting the contact button a different list pops up with other names and the ones that are listed from the other contacts are doubled up and there are two of them for each...

These contacts cannot be deleted from the contact list inside the dialer, no matter what i click there is no option to delete.

A few questions:

Anyone else getting this?

Anyway to delete or alter the contact list that is part of the dialer?

Anyone know why the contact list within the dialer would be different than my actual contact list?
