Going to get Z10 from VZW... any suggestions on data plan size

I'm planning on getting a Z10 from VZW. I was wondering what size data plan those "in the know" might suggest. I know this is subjective. I'm retired so I would be on my home network the majority o the time only "hitting" the VZW network when venturing out.

Any suggestions? Thoughts?
